Entry Requirements
Applicants should hold a Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification. We welcome enthusiastic, motivated learners who enjoy designing, making, and exploring creative ideas. Mature applicants are especially welcome to apply.
Third Level Links/Progression
Graduates have progressed to degree programmes in Product Design and related disciplines at TUD Dublin -Product Design (TU811), and at the NCAD -Product Design (AD212).
Many students also continue their studies through the Higher Education Links Scheme, using their QQI qualification to access other design-based courses such as Industrial Design, Interaction Design, and Sustainable Innovation in Ireland and abroad.

This course develops the creative and technical skills used in landscape architecture — from drawing and model-making to digital design and environmental planning. You’ll learn to analyse sites, solve design problems, and create landscapes that connect people with their surroundings.

Entry Requirements
Applicants should hold a Leaving Certificate, LCA, or LCVP. An interest in design, the environment, and working creatively with outdoor spaces is essential. Mature applicants are very welcome.
Third Level Links/Career Opportunities
Graduates have progressed to degree programmes in Landscape Architecture and related built-environment fields at TUD – Landscape Architecture (TU835) and UCD -Landscape Architecture. Many also continue their studies through the Higher Education Links Scheme, using their QQI qualification to access courses in Environmental Design, Sustainable Planning, and Horticulture at other third-level institutions in Ireland and abroad.
